Description
We're seeking a talented Backend Engineer to strengthen our engineering team. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components of our applications. This role involves working with databases, API design, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust and scalable backend services
- Create and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Optimize database queries and improve system performance
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in backend development
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.)
- Experience with database design and optimization (SQL and NoSQL)
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
